Ages 3 – 3^rd Grade

The students will be divided into 2 groups by age.

 Group 1 – Children ages 3-6

Group 2 – 1^st – 3^rd graders

Week 1: June 22-25 (9 a.m.-12 p.m.): Magical Bubbles

Dry ice, apple juice, dish soap and water are some of the ingredients for BUBBLY SCIENCE!!!!  This week students will investigate and produce smoking and spooky bubbles, bubbling lava lamps,  bubbles inside a bubble, bubbling juice and Crystal Ball bubbles.

Week 2: July 13-16 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.):  Food and Science

What’s better than food and science???  This week the students will explore Candy Chromatography, electric cornstarch, rocketing candy, make sugar rainbows and brown sugar ice cream.      

Week 3: August 10–13 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.): Water Experiments

Water is a favorite on hot summer day.  Add science to the mix and it’s even more exciting!  This week students explore the magic of disappearing ice, a version of the Cartesian Diver science experiment and the floating soda surprise.  They will create water tricks, traveling water and water whistles.
